Excuse my ignorance, but did Bates quit? I was under the impression he just was taking a break or something.

Yeah, he left the comics industry and went into animation instead.

He still does covers though. But yeah, he's been doing animation work since I think after WC wrapped up.

Come one, he still made Megaman Vs Deadly Three. You sure he left totally?

Huh, I would never guess. Nothing I saw looked like his work (then again, I stopped watching Hulk and Spider-man some time ago).

He didn't leave entirely, but his main job is animation now, any future comics work from him is a luxury and not his main work.

I think he starts in full with the next seasons although I think a few of the characters looked a little like his style in the "Avengers Assembled" finale. Which I only watched because my brother was expecting Moon Knight to pop up. Which he did. In a picture.

Ahh man, that's too bad. Ben Bates was truly amazing at this kind of thing. Anyone know how to reach him for comission purposes?

I kind of Ian to up the speed a bit with Sonic. I believe Ian is the best writer with out a doubt, but we hardly get to see Sonic traveling across the world town to town or at least an transition period on where he was running to the next area. The action is good but we just don't see enough of Sonic clearing a lot of land as runs. I mean It's called "Sonic the Hedgehog" right." His running is his lore. I also wish it had more night time scenery minus the werehog. I was disappointed in Sonic comic #237. The cover had you thinking that it was going to be at night which wasn't true at all.
