Looks like Cossack will be turning on the heroes soon if the cover is any indication.

It's not really SPRITE, honestly. It's pixel artwork.

It's titled Pixel Cutscene, so I'm picturing sprites in a game's opening :V

The variant looks a little wonky to me. I hope its just because the pixelart was meant to be larger and just doesn't scale down well

(hearty laughter)! True point, though in an NES (or even SNES) setting it's probably a little too elaborate. Especially as it is 32-bit, which is way past the limitations of the SNES and NES. Maybe on a PS type Mega Man X4-5-6 game, it would work.

However it is Ryan Jampole, who has made some pretty darn good pixel art before so no complaints.

Covers look nice and all, but... Why Rock looks scared in Pixel Variant?

I know it's meant to look like "serious" face, but when I saw that cover, my first thought was, "...What Rock's scared of?"

Spoiler: show

"AAAAAHHHHH!!!!! DON'T COME NEAR ME!!!"
