Print? Online? PDF? Something I have to import to the states and have to find a middle man to work with?

That's...hilariously random.

I've seen French translations of the Sonic X books floating around Amazon, is this the same publisher who did those?

The Sonic X comics I understand, but why Genesis? Because it's a more direct adaption of the games? But it leads back into the main canon from about halfway through. How can this possibly make sense on its own?

Q : Print. Do you want me to buy one for you if I can find any ?

Panda : Not the same publisher. For Sonic X, it's Jungle Kids editions.

Looking back on these pages I began to wonder something: could it be that this edition will have all references to the main Archie canon edited out? It crossed my mind because I wondered if it was intentional that the very first page was omitted. The page which contains the original title of "Genesis" which conflicts with the new French title on the cover, and Sonic making a subtle reference to reality being changed.

Although I have no idea how that'd work with parts 3 and 4 since they refer to the main canon very heavily.

I don't know either... I think they took this saga as some sort of start for the series... or maybe as a testing ground, to see if people would buy Sonic comics ?
And then they would translate the Archives series ?
Anyway, that should be the first time the Archie comics is released in french (not counting Sonic X)

...I would buy these just to keep my French skills up. 14 years is a long time to forget a language since no one in the states knows anything but basic high school vocab. XD;

Eggman is .... "Egg Head" in French? *eyebrow*

"Tête d'oeuf" is also a common insult in french, as is Eggman ;)

It is surreal seein Sonic speak french. I wonder how they'll handle Antoine or the fact that the ending goes back too the standered continuity?

As you can see in Snively's speech bubble, it's Eggman.

Edit : I'll check tomorrow if some shop would have recieved them earlier :)

That's what I figured, but it was just weird they'd put the asterick there with a different name. You never know, could have been a language translation thing.
