Has a comic series for MegaMan X been confirmed yet?

If I had to guess, They will announce an X book some time after Worlds Unit starts and set up the production to switch from Worlds Unit and transition it to a Mega Man X book.

That would be assuming the current MM comic sells well enough to warrant it, especially after Worlds Unite.

My personal hope is that they do a X book. I liked Dawn of X and hope they are able to continue.

*gimme hands* it'll probably sound terrible, but the only reason im supporting the classic series is to see X get off the ground >.>

I thought you were a fan of Bass, though.

Aye, but he's hardly been a regular. :P at this rate it'll probably be another three years before he fully joins the cast. And to be frank the rest of the cast doesn't really interest me all that much.... Though protoman's arc is always enjoyable. >.>

I'd like to ask again, would pre-ordering the Dawn of X trade help towards showing an interest in an X Series?

Aside from learning the X series will be represented in Worlds Unite, no, nothing on it getting an actual comic.

we do know that Worlds Unite will introduce a new video game franchise to archie, so either they meant mega Man X comic will be coming, or Mario will jump in at the last minute.

By franchise do they mean a new comic series or a series simply appearing in the crossover?

Here is the original source of the information, from Archie's CEO Jon Goldwater (link):

Reddit wrote:vivvav:
So now that you guys have both Sonic and Mega Man, is Archie looking into pursing any more video game properties? Seems like there'd be a market for it.
Also, the surprising thing to me about the newly announced Archie reboot is Fiona Staples working in her own style, instead of the traditional Archie art style. Is the company looking to experiment more with Archie's look moving forward?
Also, thanks for the new Sabrina series. It's amazing.

Jon_Goldwater:
So glad you're enjoying the new Sabrina, vivvav.
We love Fiona's art style - and we're so excited with how she's reimagined the characters. Much like Francesco did with AFTERLIFE. We are always open to new interpretations of our core characters, but the classic Archie will always be around in some form.
In terms of additional video game properties...read Worlds Unite. :)
(my emphasis)

It wasn't said no more and no less than that. So one can only wait and see ;)

Basically: Archie will be getting a new video game property. Whether that is Mega Man X or not, or hat kind of series it will be (mini series or ongoing), all we know is that it will appear in Worlds Unite.
