So I take it Shadow Man somehow knows or is connected to Duo and his evil counterpart in this iteration?

Interesting.

Spoiler: show
That's not Duo. ;)

Ooooooh myyyyyyy!

Edit I'm just reminded of something Ian said earlier

Spoiler: show
Now I'm sad that Shadow Man was drawn to look so much like his current self in "Spiritis Ex Machina" But I suppose that just adds another layer of mystery to things

I'd love it if the book actually does stuff with "Oud."

I'm interested to see what they do with Oud as well, as Ra Moon was kinda just killed off. Then again there was A LOT of build up for Ra Moon. If they had gone with Ian's original plan, Ra Moon's demise would have seemed rushed.

Do curse of Ra Moon as a 4-part story right after Spiritis ex machina. Not only would it have been 2 issues shorter, probably, we wouldn't have gotten the Proto Man story.

I assume that got pushed back because of When Worlds Collide, Well at least we got some cute filler stories out of it. Although there should have been a better less random way for Wily and Proto to meet. Like one of old labs or something, a location they both knew from their shared past and might have gone too.

I got the issue today. I read it while listening to a rock remix of the main theme to For a Few Dollars More. It went with this issue better than I would've expected.

Well that's definitely a new backstory. Pretty cool, although a whole boatload of Duos would lose a bit of his luster. Hoping there's a small number of them, certainly. Shadow Man and Gemini Man both performed wonderfully, Iand the action is certainly much better this arc, although I think the art still needs to pick up the slack a bit more in that regard.

I love how Ian and the crew are finding ways to tie elements from the games together. The idea that Duo and Trio/Oud were part of a whole organization of peacekeepers only for Trio to end up defecting, the fact that Shadow Man was part of a whole line of robots (way to use the name Kuiper for something, by the way), and the possibility of other robots like Duo being out there-it's pretty cool. Honestly it interests me more than the current Mega Man 3 adapt.

I have a theory with regards to Break Man's assignment regarding the MM2 Robot Masters:

EDIT: Had a thought about 41 that applies to events in this issue. Wily wanted Mega Man to send him the Weapon data and IC Chips from the Mega Man 3 Masters-I'm guessing he was hoping to use them to power up Doc Robot. Of course, when that didn't work out, he decided that the Mega Man 2 Masters would suffice.
