Yeah, i was talking about final boss standards. Sungod and Ra Moon are the only bosses who wasn't manipulated by the guy, though he DID stupidly reactivate them. Like, say, the guys from Rockman Strategy. Or R-Shadow who was created by him.

Hijacked by Wily!

Which just goes to show: Even when it's not Wily, it's Wily (see: X series). ;)

That's probably my least favorite thing about the X series. By the time it's X4 you just realize that everything is still hijacked by Wily. Except this time it's hijacked by Sigma who is hijacked by Wily.

Moral for most of the games:

Use critical thinking and logic to find an enemy's weakness.

(for game 1, minus time and oil - ice stops fire, fire sets off bombs, bombs destroys rocks, rocks blunts scissors, scissors cuts electric wiring, electricity conducts over ice.

(game 2 - water type douses fire, fire burns wood, time slows down speed,

Uh, buzz saw blades trumps lotsa lotsa stuff like cutting air tubes? Uh, leaves look pretty swirling in the wind? Tornados unscrew bombs that stick to walls? Deluded time bombs helps when you're frozen in time?

(game 3 - Sneaky searchers can sniff out fakes, snakes hate sharp objects, punching stops tops, twirling dance moves confuses ninjas, ninjas love cutting electric wires so they stay in the dark, the bigger the armor, the bigger target the magnet will stick to?

Um, lasers are better than needles cuz they pass through the holes? Electricity doesn't always help magnets like electro magnets?

...

Well, it KINDA makes sense for most of them.

As far as Metal Man in Mega Man 2 demonstrates, "Don't dish out what you can't take." Though to a lesser degree, you could apply that to the MM 3 Robot Masters.

Mega Man Zero Series: It is not the power of the body alone that makes a difference, but the soul that guides the body. And for the soul of a hero, a body is not a prerequisite.

Mega Man Legends: Courage (Trigger) and persistence (the Bonnes) can overcome almost any obstacle, but persistence seems to have trouble with courage.
