Morals in Mega Man media

We have a Sonic one, so what?

I'm a little dry here, though. Anyone willing to help?

Universal Moral
-Fighting is sometimes necessary to protect people from evil. And that power can be used with compassion to maintain peace.
-Use critical thinking and logic to find an enemy's weakness.

Games
Mega Man 2 (Metal Man): Don't dish out what you can't take.
Mega Man 7 (Bass): Don't invite strangers into your home.
Rockman & Forte: Challenger from the Future: Giving yourself too much power can cause insanity.
Mega Man Zero: It is not the power of the body alone that makes a difference, but the soul that guides the body. And for the soul of a hero, a body is not a prerequisite.
Mega Man Legends: Courage (Trigger) and persistence (the Bonnes) can overcome almost any obstacle, but persistence seems to have trouble with courage.

Comics
Mega Man #9-12--"The Return of Dr. Wily": Too much power can corrupt even the nicest people.
Mega Man #34-35--"Shadow of Ra Moon": There is no shame in having fear.

Shows/Other

What other lessons do we have?

Here's another one from me.

MM7: Don't invite strangers into your home.

This is a rather universal Mega Man theme, but it is the idea that fighting is sometimes necessary to protect people from evil. And that power can be used with compassion to protect peace.

That moral found a place of its own.

Pretty much.

Mega Man X, the series' ultimate pacifist, so firmly steeped in his values that he literally sits out most of a game bearing his name in the title.

What's the first thing you do after pressing Start in the first game? Open fire on anything that moves.

I'm trying to think of a conflict in that series that wasn't resolved by killing the other guy, but I'm coming up short.

"Zero, you're sick! We want to help you out!" "Oh yeah?!" *slashslashslashpewpewpew!*

Rockman and Forte 2: Challenger from the Future is pretty rife in morals.

"Don't give yourself too much power or you'll go crazy."

Alternative...

"Don't go into the future and abandon your future project to kidnap a little robot boy. It just won't end well."

I guess you could say there's another universal moral at least for the Classic game series.

Every bad thing always goes back to Wily.

Except in a grand total of two games, where R-Shadow and Sunstar were the final bosses. And both of them sort of go to the good side... before dying spectacularly.

EDITS: Three, sorry. Ra Moon counts too.

Rockman Shadow is a Wilybot, still counts.

But Wily was in some way responsible for the lot of them anyway...
