Doesn't that recent art book pretty much talk about how much he loved Zero and didn't care for X?

Could be part of the reason we didn't see much development in the mythos outside of things related to Zero

I definitely don't approve of every decision he makes. All I know is Mega Man games were happening with him here, and now that he's gone, Mega Man games stopped happening.

Yeah, Inafune was good, but hardly perfect.

What grates me most is the way Inafune/Capcom built up this fascinating, enticing world, and didn't want to do anything with it-- something like Command Mission, which could explore more of it, was "wrong" by his estimation. Heck, I think properly utilized, the MMX world could be as good as something like Star Wars or Transformers. Maybe not as big (then again, who knows?), but there's a lot of good material there.

They should've used that female Hunter seen in early concept art.
