Might want to put a foul language warning on that, the guy in the video seems to really like his bad wordz.

Basically, Capcom only has 152 million dollars in the bank.

That means that Mighty NO. 9 raised more money than Capcom has in its entire bank...and all that money went to ONE GAME.

2 million dollars is not even close to being greater than 152 million dollars.

Maybe in non-euclidean mathematics? A question of time cube, maybe. The 2 million dollars have more worth in themselves than the 152 million dollars?

I'll just shake my head and put AnimeCwboy's comments here.

AnimeCwboy wrote:But this is all based on their cash-on-hand, this isn't a representation of the company's actual value. According to their corporate info, they currently have an annual Revenue(Total Income) of $109.7 million and Net Income(After costs) of $29.8 million. So they're not top of the list and but they are also aren't about to go bankrupt.

I have no idea. Though canceling games in a beloved series, and trying to appeal to the Call of Duty audience, certainly doesn't help their situation.

I did not know that. Welp, time to go clack my face open on the pavement in shame.

STILL, I don't foresee Capcom lasting too long if they don't learn their lessons ASAP. Like, say, not dropping entire series just because one entry didn't do as well as previous games. And actually advertising their own stuff.

So how's Capcom doing when compared to SEGA? I know SEGA seemed to have had some financial issues latly.

From what I understand, SEGA is only surviving BECAUSE it makes good games. If it were doing CAPCOM levels of bad, it would die.

Wait you mean SEGA are actually making good games that aren't sonic? Cause from what I understand the latest aliens game was terrible

Well that's what happens when you license out to Gear Box. Think SEGA's still planning to sue them over that actually last time I checked.

Quality of the games in question not withstanding, SEGA makes a quite a bit of money off of Football Manager and Total War. Which is why both are PC exclusive characters in All Stars Racing Transformed.

I've heard Gearbox is making patches for it to make it at least decent. It had a rough history, and as quite a bit of it proves, it didn't have to turn out the way it did. The patches are to bring it closer to what it was supposed to be.

If by "rough history" you mean Gearbox effed over every party involved and "stole" money to develop for Borderlands 2.
