Postby ReifuTD » Wed Jul 03, 2013 7:38 pm

I found out there's Mega Man Broad game and what seem to be a battle trading card game comming out.

http://www.jascogames.com/megaman_board_game

plus there are like allways action figures that seem to come out so I decided to do a Mega Man version of this topic from the Sonic forum.

*glances at her giant comic book section, her Shadow Man and Quick Man figures, her Mega Man poster, her arm canon, her Chibi Mega Man figure*

I'm not a fan... er...

*glances at her Doctor Who stuff. Which includes many old magazines, the crossover comic, the stuffed Dalek that says EXTERMINATE, the audio stories, and the sonic screwdriver*

... Not at all.

Hm, Black Zero. That's..... tempting, but I think I'll pass. I'm pretty happy with my regular version. I've spent WAY too much on figures for modding as it is and I've already got Forte and Sigma on pre-order.

Still got Zero Type 1 to buy to turn into a Spider, too. :p

I'm surprised they haven't made an Axl or Alia yet.

I recently got the D-Arts of Vile and X this summer from the Asian Oriental place that sells imported Japanese stuff at my local mall. Almost wanted to keep them in their boxes until I learned that they were in great quality and good for actual display.

But I would kill for Bass.

I'm posting this article about MM25: Mega Man & Mega Man X Official Complete Works. It has some nice pictures to click. One showing all the oringal names for the MM9 Robot Masters. Since we go Glue Man in the comic kind of maybe those guys can show up. Also Udon is going to be selling some limited edition hardcover versions at San Diego Comic-Con for a 100$.

So I'm still kind of confused with these new Complete works. They're just reprints of the originals with a few extras right? If that's the case I don't see why I should bother shelling out more money for just a few extras.

When the originals came out, the Mega Man series was up to 8, if memory serves. They're now up to 10, plus stuff like Rockman Xover, Street Fighter x Tekken, the comic book, and other stuff that's out. So, "a few extras" is basically the games released in the past five years.

I don't know whether or not that includes such things as Rockman Online or Mega Man Universe, though.

Eeeeeh. Hrm. Tough choice.

I think the pricetag alone is enough to deter me honestly. Especially since I already own the other Complete Works AND the Japanese Perfect Memories. Aside from maybe MvC3 there's not much in the last few years to really warrant me jumping out to buy it.

Honestly... I kinda like the original covers more. :< All neat and bumpy.

I'll buy the book even if I manage to buy the Mega Man X: Official Complete Works. Anything to support the franchise, and I think my wallet speaks to them more than anything!

The Broad Game has a facebook page. It features art from the Archie comic. Makes me wounder if the board game it's self going to feature more Archie art.

Card game stuff too All using images from the comics. (Now Only of the MLP CCG will use images from the comics. )
