I'm loving the art on this. It's very nice. And I can't wait until this is out. This arc just looks so amazing and surprisingly dark. That pacemaker line honestly creeped me out.

Hmm rather odd since the solicitation and the Destructoid preview says it's tomorrow and Comixology's release is apparently still tomorrow. Maybe there was a problem getting the physical issues moved in time?

Maybe. Comixology won't put it up regardless--they wait until the physical copy is out if there's a delay.

I just love how the adaptation is so different from the game already. The fact that Pedro and his new bot were worked into it is also a nice touch. I'm ready for my rematches. Let's see how they do this time around.

Well, the comic shop didn't have it on the new releases list today, so it probably will be out next week after all.

Well the previews are awesome looking, but since I still hit the comic store, I can only hope I'll still be able to find Venom 39 and 40 when I do get to it. I have my Sonic and Mega Man comics on reserve, but now I'm more worried about Deadpool Kills Deadpool and The Superior Carnage becoming inflated in price since I've missed getting the last issues

After reading the preview pages, I'm a bit confused. Just how long was that guy in town for? Didn't multiple holidays pass between Spiritus Ex Machina and Rock's birthday, or was that his second time in town? Additionally, is that liquid preventing the wave(s) from affecting Rock? Can it evaporate and leave him vulnerable?

Maybe the coating not being permanent will be brought up thus further motivating them to hurry up to stop the EMP wave.

This was a dark issue. I like it over all. The one thing that buged me the most was why Roll was still wearing the burned clothes she was wearing when blasted? I can't see Light wanted into leave her looking like that? First off if she's like Rock she most likly has a panel in her chest. Even if Light couldn't repair her I'm pretty sure her would have removed her dress to check her damaged. So Roll should of been laying there in a something like a nighty or naked with blanket covering her modesty. Plus it looks kind of silly to have a severely injured person in a medical bed wearing their every day clothes much less ones that had blaster burns on them.

It's because that's what they did in the game (and she's a robot so her dress might as well be a 'skin' anyway.)

True, but I'm pretty sure game didn't have her get shot in the chest too. The point was to put her out of commission although I'm not sure how importing it is to keep Roll in the game dress that she was wear when she was in a coma in the game. And I know we seen Roll in beach wear so she can take that dress off.

I don't think this is something you should look into too much into besides "It happened in game despite us changing some things." Besides the fact that I don't think anyone here wants to a naked Roll (okay some, but those kinds of people aren't relevant) but also because the damage she took shouldn't have been portrayed too graphic than what we saw.

Do NOT bring the Brazilian comics into discussion!
