Night of the Werehog adaptation in Archie

Postby Polish Pete » Sun Oct 18, 2015 4:31 am

I'm surprised nobody actually pointed it out (unless someone did mention it and I just didn't know), so allow me to be the one to ask this question.

Since Ian's in the middle of a Sonic Unleashed adaptation, is there a chance he's also going to include the events of the "Night of the Werehog" short or at least make a reference to that?

I've been wanting to see the three ghosts since they were introduced to the franchise.

Definitely maybe.

Personally I wonder how ghosts work on Mobius. Not counting those there are one from S3&K, Adventure 2, Heroes, Sonic 2006 and Rivals 2. Sonic has pretty big variety of ghosts.

Last time he was asked about their inclusion, he said he hadn't asked SEGA whether they were okay to use or not, I think.

Yet another romantic interest for a version of Sonic? Nopenopenope.

... but yeah-no. It seems like Chip's going to get his memories back soon so that ship may have sailed.

I hope not! The Werehog has been pointless since 267.

would make for a good Halloween Comic Fest issue for this year, but I feel like if they were planning one of those we would've already heard about it

I'd love for the Ghosts to show up but it seems unlikely at this point. Maybe they could combined them with the Runners Halloween outfits and do a oneshot or something.

As much as I love Night of the Werehog, I'm not really expecting it to be in the comic. I wouldn't be surprised if it's right alongside the OVA of 'not-relevant Sonic media that's not allowed to be used.'

I might be wrong on that last part, and would like to be proven wrong by Ian or somebody here. But I really don't care either way if we see a NotW tribute in some form. If yes, super cool. If not, that's fine, I can always watch it whenever on YouTube.

I'd be fine with just the ghosts being used in some capacity. Not necessarily just in a NotW based story.

Everything said here pretty much.

Still would love for them to pop up in a one-off at some point..

Oh hey, ghost girl is on #281's variant cover. What a funny coincidence.

We all know it's not really Sonic she wants.

She wants the Werehog form of him.
