I like to think that if it was real, they'd put more care into the cover than lifting Sonic directly off of the cover of #0...

Yeah this comes from a blog that regularly makes these covers in photo shop he also does Brave and the Bold covers. It's fun. Also Super Family Teamup ended in like the late 70s way before Sonic was out.

Not to mention: No comic by any publisher was being sold new on the stands for 60 cents when Sonic existed. For context: Sonic's own comic book, which came out in 1992, the year after the first Sonic game, originally sold for $1.25.

In regards to the cover in question, its a hoax from a site that does cover hoaxes frequently, but they're very good cover hoaxes having every dream match imaginable.
