What recent events?

The events with the Ken Penders Vs. Archie Comics court case. There's a thread called "The Strange Case of Cut Content (Spoilers)" that talks about it.

Yes but thats not recent.I thought you were talking about some other event

Oh man that cover looks awesome. Best Archives cover we've had in a while.

Much as I'd prefer the archives stop using classic/"hybrid" style, and am a little irked that it's basically a rehash of #84, I will admit the cover does look awesome.

...but yeah:

Yeah, Archie missed a really good opportunity to put SSS#13 in there.

The last few GN announcements have been a bit irksome to be honest. There are much better ways these arcs could be collected cohesively.

If they release a Sonic Select featuring game stories (such as the recent Sonic All Stars Racing), maybe they can add the Adventure storyline.

Not that it wouldn't fit better in with this Archives book, but I'll take what I can get. As long as I don't have to hunt down the Sonic Super Special featuring it.

We knew they were going to keep the style when they didn't in 19.

I was really clinging the to possibility that the hybrid style was purely for the "transition" period from classic to modern, elements from the modern era where still gradually being introduced and covers where representing that. I would've had it so that the modern style started being used from this cover onward since this is where the Adventure saga really gets into full swing.

Man, this completely messes up what I had planned out in my head for upcoming volumes. If this volume had done what we where all thinking, it would've resulted in the following:

-An upcoming volume (around 26 I think) would've ended on #100.
-All four installments of "Tossed in Space" would've been together*
-All four installments of the "Home" arc would've been together (not including the epilogue)*
-All three parts of the "Tommy Trilogy" would've been together (along with the aforementioned epilogue)*
-All four installments of "Return to Angel Island" would've been together*
-All of "The Good, the Bad and the Unknown" would've been together*
*This was providing #113 ends up getting omitted for obvious reasons

See? It all would've fit perfectly.

What's wrong with #113?

I don't mind the Hybrid style of the covers I think it looks nice myself. What I do mind is that we are still in friggin four issue trades.

It was fine in all thhe volumes befre Endgame but I really think they should just make them Arc based since were in a point where story arcs actually started to be a thing.
