I'm getting the impression Delcourt dunno what to do with the issues anymore...

Does anyone ever use Google Translate to read the description of the German and French Archie Sonic?

Well I decided to use Google Translate for the description of that fifth French Sonic Book and the result is pretty funny.

For a quick summary of what it read. For Lost World, It said Sonic goes to the world lost world. It also mentions the name of his new enemies. The Six Deadly.

Now the description for that is passable with a few errors but the Olympics issue is downright funny.

It says ''the Hedgehog part in the Olympics with her boyfriend Mario''

Wow I know Google Translate is a really rough translation but that is very funny.

Like I said in the Archie Sonic in German thread, I really hope they decide to bring the comics to the UK as well especially since the interactive annual had Lost in the Moment and All About Sonic had Sonic Colours and Sonic Unleashed.

"Copain" has been wrongly translated to "boy friend" although it means "a friend who's a boy".

And it looks weird to us in English, Ryan, because we don't really have an equivalent word for it (boyfriend and girlfriend are technically right, but they also hold different connotations).

It could also stem from the fact English tends not to assign a gender to most nouns in the first place (which is why we only have one "the", while you can have "le", "la", "les" and more in French).

The 6th book of Delcourts Sonic is up on Amazon with a 5th November release date.

It's titled "Espèces en voie de disparition" which translates to Endangered Spe-oooohhh...

Looks like Delcourt are skipping straight to that storyline.

Reminder: tome 4 got up to when Antoine got blown away, followed by a random collection of the ATAP stories plus "Unfriendly Skies" in tome 5.

They'll probably end up skipping Worlds Collide too. I can't even imagine how Countdown to Chaos is gonna go down with them.

I bought the sixth issue today. It contains the first two parts of Endangered Species and, strangely, #218's Hindsight...

Next issue should be released in May.

May? so they up their production from six months to four? Do they still print these things two issues at a time?

How'd you figure that? The book Adamis just got was supposed to be released in November but got delayed for some reason. Having a May release for the next one after that is totally in keeping with what their release pattern has always been.
