Sonic Comic Collections

Forum devoted to Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic Universe and the entire Sonic line by Archie Comics.

On Christmas day I'll take some pictures of my Sonic section and post some. I got some of that original Tracy artwork to display too.

Q, I have to ask since I'm in your shoes too (almost): How is the hunt for Sonic the Comic going? Any good leads? I'm only a few issues away from finally capping off my Archie comic collection and I wish to move on to STC afterwards (not that I'm going to collect them all, I WISH :P ).

Anyway I only really need Issues #2-24 for Archie now. I have everything else, although I'm waiting to hear about a few other issues I need besides them too.

This is the site I'm planning on getting StC from for the most part. Found them a while ago on a google search and I'm planning on ordering a huge order from them when I'm not broke. Which should be sometime in February.

Oh wow, thanks. Real neat store. I would love to read the Edgemont series or at least some of it.

I still need to finish my Archie collection though and score some random other collectables.

Just a heads-up, (and this has probably been asked many times before but couldn't find where), on the subscriptions page on the archie comics website, am i able to, as a british citizen, subscribe to the comics as the americans and canadians can?

The Archie Sonic Comics are Licensed for publication in North America only. That said I remember Ian stating that the yearly collections are shipped internationally, don't quote me on that though. If anything I would send an email to:

orderhelp@archiecomics.com

They should be able to answer your questions no problem. And that e-mail address really should be stickied. It took me an hour to find it the last time I had to look it up.

I believe you'll need to do a contract with a shop.

Ahh, with Christmas comes more comics.

My collection has doubled. I got StH 129-167, and 66-77

Btw, I had to mention #134. Did anyone else feel that this issue was forced? I totally did not see Sally and Sonic reacting to each other like that. I could tell the writer forced it upon the book. Which I think is unfortunate...

Sonic the Hedgehog Ltd.
#0, 1, 3

Sonic the Hedgehog
#1, 54-77, 129-Present

Sonic Universe
#1-Present

Sonic the Hedgehog Archives
Volumes 0-10

Sonic Select
Books 1, 2

But sadly, I still don't have any of the spin-off books. D: Consider my quest picking up pace in the next couple years,

Oooookkaaaay.... Well I FINALLY have pictures, thanks to my parents getting new cell phones for Christmas. As you guys can see I had A LOT of time on my hands these days so I took an hour out to snap some pics of my collection last night.

Some of these pics are kinda blurry (cell phone, remember), but decent no less. Also some of these pics are up to 4 pictures combined, so remember that if your internet connection is super slow.

Unfortunately, the pics of Tracy Yardley's art didn't turn out too great. But you can still see most of it none-the-less. Look closely at the top to see his signature.

My collection isn't nearly complete as Q's though, but I'm getting there. You guys can also see why I'm a HUGE dork (like I care, though). :P

You guys are also looking at some of my Christmas gifts. I got the Tracy art, the Herms poster, the Super Shadow figure, and the Sonic X clock as gifts. Oh and yes, I do have a pool table, twas my father's when he was young.

Hey Q, I seem to recall that one year (1996?) there was a free Halloween giveaway Archie comic in which some of the Sonic characters (drawn by Spaz) appeared, briefly (meeting Archie?? )...have you got this one? I cannot prove its existence, unfortunately - I USED to have a scan from it somewhere but I don't anymore.

I have never heard of that issue, and it hasn't appeared on any of the Comic Book Store sites that I've checked, and believe me I went through all of them quite thoroughly twice a week looking at the listings. My Comic Shop has the most complete listing for the series and I don't recall them having it either. :? Curious. If it does exist it is probably the rarest book in the series run. Though someone else is going to have to confirm it's existence with a scan of the cover or something.
