Ah. Great. I have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Sonic Specials. I remember snatching up everyone of them I could get my hands on.
And since they're technically Sonic Specials then they could adapt other game plots that haven't been covered? Some like Shadow the Hedgehog and ( dare I say it ) Sonic 06. Or it would be really awesome to see an adaptation of Sonic Chronicles.
I'd even geek out over a Sonic and the Black Knight story. ( here's hoping )
I'm really looking foward to all the new stories and plot developments over the course of next year. Thank you again.

I am over the moon with joy about a real backstory for Bunnie! I also love how you incorporated Armand into issue 207. This has been an epic year, roll on 2010!

Yea, I'm sick of the Ad style Adoptions too. Even Hawaiian Punch had better comics in Sonic's early comics then the current Sonic Game adoptions. and the Hawaiian Punch comics even had stuff saying that they were Advertisements. Basically we need more adoptions that go for a full story, not a part story like the Riders Adaption. Even if I have to e-mail Sega about this I'll do it.

| Am I the only one who doesn't want the games adapted as full arcs in the comic? Either it'd be done when the game is new with massive spoilers, or years later when it's all old news anyway. And either way, it'd be several months of just basically filler when we could be getting newer, more original stories and more creative takes on the characters and settings which can only be done because of the separation from SegaSonic's already defined canon. |

People are really this excited for Big?
What's the "big" deal anyway? He is a stupid and pointless character with nothing interesting about him other than his lack of intelligence. I know I'm gonna be flamed for that, but I seriously do not understand why people like him so much. |

It doesn't have to be a full arch, but is shouldn't be just a cliff hanger story either. Remember issue 13 the Sonic 3 adaption? That was both adaption and original story. It also lasted only 1 issue.

Because he's actually an interesting character, different from the norm. He ahs no big mission, nothing- he's a slow fellow who leads a calm life with his buddy, fishing. He doesn't care for the big adventures that are happening, he's an average joe character with super strength. He is not pointless at all. And as shown, Ian can write him awesomely.

That story had very very little to do with Sonic 3 & Knuckles, aside from most of the same characters being used. Not to mention, it had nothing to do with anything else at the time; even for the old days, it was pretty pointless. Not only that, it wasn't even a full issue story! It shared the issue with Space in Yo' Face.
Actually, the only difference between it and the backup commercials was how completely inaccurate it was, come to think of t. |
