I hope Ian means "new territory" literally and Sonic goes on another world tour.

Obviously the Iron Queen ("Regina F") and her posse, shown slightly (from what I've seen) in FCBD 2009. I hope they pose a serious threat (much more than Mogul and the Destructix currently do) and work in conjunction with Snively for a while.

I think this refers to Espio, since his backstory in StH #201 will "change his standing in the Chaotix forever".

I'm pretty positive this is referring to Monkey Khan, since we know for sure he'll be back in StH #202.

True. That and Sonic and Espio I've never really seen have close talks like Sonic and Mighty, so they're more colleagues in arms than friends I'd say, so perhaps you're right.

I'm trying to think if it could be anyone else though...Tails' secret was exposed during House of Cards...
What is that enemy trying to bury the hatchet is really Fiona? We haven't seen her in awhile...
Ummm...As far as I know Sonic and Geoffrey are on good terms...

Nice interview Ian.
It's obvious Sonic and Eggman's battle won't end in this issue. Most everyone knows that. I'll be curious to see what happens to Eggman and where he goes from there though (most likely ousted from his empire).
Obviously the new villains bit at least partially refers to Regina and Crew. We'll see if we get to see the other DEL members that was hinted at in the FCBD issue or someone else.
If you ask me, the burying the hatchet "(maybe)" bit seems to refer to Khan.
The old friend having a secret being exposed bit could refer to a number of Sonic's friends. I'm thinking Espio or Mighty are the most likely suspects right now. Even though they may not seem to talk that often, I'd still classify everyone in the Chaotix as Sonic's friends, and they have been for a while. |

I also think its Khan thats going to bury the hatchet. When I think of all of Sonic's rivals in the comic right now, he's on friendly terms with all of them (Knuckles, St. John, and Shadow) and the one he isn't (Scourge) just had a massive story arc awhile ago so I doubt we'll be seeing him for a long time.
I think all the secrets and relvations are happening with Espio. I'd like to see some development for him, I wonder what Ian has in store for "Devotion" in Issue #201. |

I don't like the idea of a shake up among Sonic's friends, I don't like when things come between them.
As for secerts, I am not sure about this one, though I think I would like for Sonic to find out the whole truth(because I don't think he does)about the ulimatium and Sally. I'd imagine at first Sonic would be shocked and a little mad, and ask Sally "why didn't you tell me(my theory on this is that she was trying to protect Sonic)?"This could be a good way to eventually lead up to Sonic and Sally gettng back together as well as cause tension between Sonic and Max. |
