the issue is looking good, i must say, but whats with Eggman's plan. "Make a shield to defend against the freedom fighters and chaotix, but make sure they get through?" _________________ Even today, we can still say Scouting is about three things: It's about fun. I love it so far! Especially the art. Tracy did a great job, and of course I love Matt's colors. I really hope he becomes the regular colorist, he's great at it! Noticeably, Tracy's rendition of the Jeep from the last issue is very different from what it looked like when Renae drew it.
Nice addition of the Chao in New Mobotropolis, I wonder if there are more there or if that was just a little easter egg. Love the splash panel with all the Chaotix and the Freedom Fighters getting ready for the final push on Robotnik. Also nice to see that Rotor is doing all that he can do at the moment. Nice references to the past of the DEL, with the Ice and Fire Teams. I think that Lien-Da has every right to be a bit cautious with Snively and Regina's plan, they really aren't positive that they should trust her. Although they don't have much of a choice right now. Seems that the game plan for Regina, Snively, and the DEL is to help Eggman up until a certain point, and then leave him to deal with the resistance. We'll see how it goes though.
Definitely looking forward to this one, it looks like it should be pretty big. |

Character designs are great and the coloring really seems to fit the mood as well. Not so sure I approve the live news report link to Nicole and New Mobotropolis- seems like the media hounds would try to skew the event to make the Freedom Fighters and Chaotix look like the bad guys instead.
It also like Lien-da may get a stroke before the day's over too. |

Yahoo! A issue featuring Julie-Su and the Dark Legion! I can't wait to see what happens in this one!
But I have to wonder.. Why did Sally called Eggman 'Robotnik'? I thought they were considered to be two different people? _________________ Sonic Comic Character Checklist website.

They all refer to him as (Dr.) R obotnik and (Dr.) E ggman. They are basically two different people, but they have the same names and similar pasts up to a point. |

I never call Doctor Eggman Robotnik, our of respect for the original character. Bedsides that, the issue looks great, I loved Sonic's "Hi Mom" moment at the beginning and it should be interesting when RF finally shows her face. I know that Dimitri and Lien-Da have a lot riding on her and Snively. _________________

I'm still betting that Regina is the Iron Queen. That's been my guess for a long time, and I'm sticking to it until she's shown in the book. A lot of evidence has been pointing towards her being Regina too (but that could be what Ian wants us to think). Either way, by the looks of things, the Regina F. mystery should be solved in this issue. |

Is it just me, or are the citizens of New Mobotropolis starting to look more and more like well-designed Sonic fan characters with each passing issue?
Although it may take some time to get used to the seperate hair and skin
color for Lien-Da, I love the art and coloring here! |
